GPAC has recently established a partnership with a renowned construction equipment company to recruit a skilled Sales Associate.

The dealership specializes in agriculture and construction equipment, encompassing a wide range from tractor trailers to skid steers.

If you are contemplating a career transition and boast a background in agricultural equipment, this opportunity warrants your attention.

Responsibilities of an Agricultural Equipment Sales Representative :

  • Demonstrated sales experience within a dealership environment.
  • Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service (a strong interpersonal skill set is essential).
  • Capacity to multitask and maintain organization during peak business periods.
  • Familiarity with tractors, combines, sprayers, tillage equipment, grain carts (experience with these is advantageous).
  • Previous involvement with John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, Case-IH, Massey Ferguson, or similar agricultural dealerships is beneficial.
  • Sustains up-to-date knowledge on the features and advantages of equipment potentially available for sale by the dealership.
  • Monitors competitor activities / products and provides prompt updates to management.
  • Conducts demonstrations of new equipment in the field.
  • Observes trends in customers' business operations and communicates relevant information to management promptly.
  • Stays current on financing options to aid customers in acquiring new and used products.
  • Participation in pertinent sales training events and seminars.

Requirements for an Agricultural Equipment Sales Representative :

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in agricultural equipment sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet usage.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Exceptional skills in fostering customer relationships.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
